Is this gambling?
No. There is no real money, no wagering, and nothing to win. It is a training app: you are answering questions about poker decisions, the same way a chess puzzle app works.
Where do the answers come from?
Established preflop charts for 100bb cash games, 6-max and 8-max. Every hand shows the frequency mix and the reasoning, and you can open the full range chart the spot came from — so you can check the logic rather than memorise a grid.
Why does it sometimes say "close enough"?
Because a hand the chart raises 54% and folds 46% of the time does not have a right answer. An action within ten points of the most frequent one counts, and the panel names the tie rather than taking credit for a coin toss it happened to win.
